Most of scar recovery happens between sessions.
Clinical sessions trigger the work. Lasers, microneedling, subcision — these signal the skin to rebuild, soften scar tissue, and remodel collagen. But the rebuilding itself happens in the days and weeks afterwards, at home.
That window — between one ScarAway™ Program session and the next — is when the skin does most of its actual recovery work. Without daily support during that window, the gains from each session can plateau. The barrier weakens. Post-inflammatory pigmentation can creep in. The next session then has to recover lost ground before adding new improvement.

A hyaluronic acid derivative with a 9-carbon chain structure. The technical effect: it reaches multiple layers of the epidermis rather than staying on the surface like standard hyaluronic acid. In practice, this means the skin gets hydration where it needs it — particularly relevant when the barrier is recovering from clinical procedures.

The "d" in 9HAᵈ. A skin-identical compound that converts to Vitamin D3 within the epidermis without UV exposure. - Cleanse Remove overnight oil and residue.

- Moisturiser Once 9HAd has absorbed, follow with your usual moisturiser. The serum is the active layer; moisturiser locks in hydration and creates a smooth base for sunscreen. Use what your skin already tolerates.

How is this different from a regular moisturiser?
A moisturiser sits on the surface of the skin to maintain hydration. The 9HAᵈ & eXO³ system is formulated specifically for skin in active scar recovery — supporting barrier rebuilding, collagen remodelling, and pigmentation balance through ingredients designed to work alongside clinical scar treatment. It is closer to a treatment serum than to general moisturisation.
Can I use this without doing the ScarAway™ Program?
Yes. The system is also suitable as standalone home care for sensitive skin, post-procedure recovery from other clinical treatments, or as long-term skin support. It was designed to extend the work of ScarAway™, but the formulation works for any skin needing recovery support. Speak to your doctor about whether it suits your skin specifically.
When do I see results?
Hydration and tightness improvements are usually noticeable within the first one to two weeks. Barrier resilience and post-procedure redness reduction typically follow over three to four weeks. Pigmentation balancing and texture improvement become visible from month two to three. The system is formulated for cumulative results, not overnight change.
Can I use this with my existing skincare routine?
Yes, the system is designed to slot into a standard cleanse-tone-treat-protect routine. Apply 9HAᵈ in the morning after cleansing and toning, before sunscreen. Apply eXO³ in the evening after cleansing and toning, as the only active serum at night. Avoid layering additional acids, retinols, or exfoliants with eXO³ unless directed by your doctor.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
The system was formulated for skin that is often compromised — post-clinical procedures, in active recovery, or naturally sensitive. The ingredients support barrier function rather than push aggressive change. That said, every skin is different. If you have a known allergy or your skin is currently inflamed, speak to your doctor before starting.
Where is it made?
The 9HAᵈ & eXO³ system is formulated and manufactured in Singapore, under Dr. Aglow Medical Skincare, the sister brand of Aglow Clinic. All Dr. Aglow products are doctor-formulated and produced under medical skincare manufacturing standards.
Are the two bottles sold separately?
No. The system is sold as a set — the AM and PM bottles work together as one recovery rhythm. The day phase and night phase of skin recovery are different and need different support; the set is formulated to address both. RM 290 covers the complete set.
